I live in Argentina. I'm trying to find anything about my ancestors in Switzerland or France and I found your message. Are you trying to find anybody called Bonvin. I mean any ancestor of you. In Argentina there is a museum with several European ancestors and I know a family with that surname in a province called Entre Rios. Actuellement il y a beaucoup de personnes appelées BONVIN ici. En fait, c'est le nom de famille de ma grand-mère paternelle.
